The Golden Wing Inn[edit]

If you try to talk to her while at level 4 or lower, she will reply:

  • Avanti Moonwillow: Good day, <class>. Something about this place reminds me of my home, Aerenal.

If you are at level 5 or higher, however, she will reply:

  • Avanti Moonwillow: We are aware of your many exploits, <name>.
  • Avanti Moonwillow: I have come in search of someone who can aid us in Stormreach. This place is far from our seat of power and the Undying Court seeks your help.
  • You: How can I assist you?
  • Avanti Moonwillow: At the end of the Age of Giants, my ancestors fled the continent. Those that died in those dark times were entombed here on Xen'drik.
  • Avanti Moonwillow: The Drow have been ransacking these ancient tombs. They seek something—and no coffin, no sepulcher is left undisturbed.
  • Avanti Moonwillow: The Undying Court would like you to enter the Tomb of the Ancients in the Shrouded Vale, and prevent the Drow from desecrating the Venerated ancestors entombed inside.
    • You: Consider it done, Avanti. (Bestow quest)
      • Avanti Moonwillow: Go with speed. The tomb is in the Shrouded Vale.
    • You: Are there any pressing dangers or pitfalls I should be aware of?
      • Avanti Moonwillow: The tomb's Venerated were honorable Elves in life, but the Drow magic used to raise them is evil. This has causes some ill side-effects.
      • Avanti Moonwillow: Do not let the Venerated touch you. You will be struck with a malady that will eventually kill you is intreated. Mummy Rot can bring even the strongest man to his knees. To cure it, you must first remove the curse before you can cure the disease. It must be done in that order—I cannot stress it enough.
        • You: I understand. I'm ready to go. (Bestow quest)
          • Avanti Moonwillow: Go with speed. The tomb is in the Shrouded Vale.
    • You: I want to know more about this Age of Giants.
      • Avanti Moonwillow: The Giants ruled all of Xen'drik eons ago. Elves and Drow were but their slaves. But, after many generations of involuntary servitude, we rose up against our masters.
      • Avanti Moonwillow: In response, the Giants planned to unleash destructive magical forces against the rebellion—but this offended the Dragons. They destroyed the ancient Giant Empire and ended the Age of Giants.
        • You: What happened next? (See above "How can I assist you")

Talking to her after acquiring the quest, but before completion, she will say:

  • Avanti Moonwillow: I implore you, <name>. Please do not allow anything to deter you from completing this task. The Drow must not be allowed to continue to disrespect our dead in this manner.
  • Avanti Moonwillow: You can find transport to the Shrouded Vale from here in the House Phiarlan Enclave. The Tomb of the Ancients is in the Vale.
    • You: Are there any pressing dangers or pitfalls I should be aware of? (See above)

On completion of quest, she will congratulate you with the following:

  • Avanti Moonwillow: Well met, <name>. The Undying Court will be very pleased with your actions. Do not be surprised to hear from us again.
  • You: You are most welcome, Lady Moonwillow.

After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to her again, she will reply:

  • Avanti Moonwillow: Well met, <name>. The Undying Court will be very pleased with your actions. Do not be surprised to hear from us again.
