Bane
This page describes the Bane damage type. For information on the weapon enchantment, see Bane (enchantment). For information on the spell, see Bane (spell).
Bane damage is untyped and cannot be reduced by damage reduction (DR), elemental resistance, or any other form of damage mitigation.
- Weapons with the Bane enchantment inflict bane damage against a specific creature type.
- Spells inflicting bane damage, such as Phantasmal Killer and Destruction*, are unaffected by force damage enhancements, in contrast to other untyped damage spells.needs verification
