Description:

• Pirate captain of the Blood Tide. Has a pet rat named Ratty.
• Background note: he's cited in Treasure of Crystal Cove/Treasure Map quests.

You first meet him at the top of the stairs in the foyer. He will close the tower shield's in your face and say:

• Captain Michael Tew: Ha ha ha! Look what House Deneith sent after us, Ratty! Come to liberate the Tower, have you? I'm afraid you're too late.
• Captain Michael Tew: The Tide has turned! House Deneith is no match for me and my pirates.
• Captain Michael Tew: Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the top of the Tower to load House Deneith's treasure into my airship.

After you destroy the Crimson Moon, he will appear and scream at you:

• Captain Michael Tew: No! You've destroyed the Crimsom Moon!
• Captain Michael Tew: You'll pay for this outrage, you and your Deneith paymasters!
• Captain Michael Tew: We'll settle our accounts in the tower's pinnacle! Meet me there, coward!
