The Lord of Blades

Before you have finished the quests inside the House Cannith Manufactury, if you talk to him, he will reply:

• Ceros d'Cannith: I only deal with trusted servants of House Cannith. Come back when you have earned a name for yourself in this House.

After you finish the three quests, he will approach you differently:

• Ceros d'Cannith: House Cannith must move against the Lord of Blades immediately. To do that we need your help, <name>.
• Ceros d'Cannith: Doubtless you've figured out that the Lord of Blades came here looking for something - and now reports from the Manufactury show that he has found what he's looking for. The Lord of Blades has uncovered Eldritch Site Prime deep beneath the Manufactury. The site contains an ancient Creation Forge of stupendous power. We need to stop him before he masters the Forge and learn its secreets.
  • You: I'm willing to go toe-to-toe with the Lord of Blades. Where can I find him?
    • Ceros d'Cannith: Eldritch Site Prime lies beneath the foundations of the Manufactury. Normally we keep the area around it secured, but I'll give you the security keys so you can access it.
    • Ceros d'Cannith: We don't know exactly what you'll be up against down there, but the Lord of Blades is one of the most skilled warriors on Eberron, an army unto himself. Be sure to bring allies!
      • You: The Lord of Blades will never get a chance to activate the Creation Forge! (Bestow quest)
  • You: What is Eldritch Site Prime? And what's so important about this Creation Forge?
    • Ceros d'Cannith: Eldritch Site Prime is a set of ancient ruins, thousands of years old. It contains one of the earliest Creation Forges ever made. The Manufactury was built over the ruins so that House Cannith could study the Forge and make sure its secrets didn't fall into the wrong hands.
    • Ceros d'Cannith: The Lord of Blades could use the Creation Forge to create an army of warforged to attack us with. Or he could use it to reforge himself, and make him even more powerful - a terrifying thought, as he is already so powerful that some warforged worship him as a god. Either way, you must stop him now, while we still can.
      • You: If the Lord of Blades is so powerful, how am I supposed to take him on?
        • Ceros d'Cannith: You have quite an impressive reputation here in Stormreach. I'm sure that with the help of a team of fellow adventurers you're more than a match for the Lord of Blades.
        • Ceros d'Cannith: Yet if you have any doubt that you can defeat him, then destroy the Creation Forge. Better that we lose access to the Forge than let the Lord of Blades use it to further his bloody plans.

Talking to him after acquiring the raid, but before completion, will make him say:

• Ceros d'Cannith: The Lord of Blades is in Eldritch Site Prime inside the Manufactury. Go now, for the sake of us all!

On completion of raid, he will congratulate you with the following:
