Delera Omaren (Ghost).jpg

Name: Delera Omaren

Race: Human, Ghost

Gender: Female

Bestows Quest(s): Thrall of the Necromancer

Affiliation(s): The Coin Lords

Locations:

Description: Delera Omaren was a very powerful woman in Stormreach. Later in life she became the city's benefactor, the closest thing we had to a saint. Before she died she ordered the construction of a mausoleum where the city's poor could be buried for free. She herself was buried there.

She is also the great-grandmother of Delera Omaren IV, one of Stormreach's Coin Lords.

Notes: The evil shade of Delera Omaren appears twice in the Delera's Tomb story arc. Delera's Shade attacks you near the conclusion of The Missing Party, as well as in Free Delera (where you release her from the control of a necromancer you encounter in the final quest of the arc, Thrall of the Necromancer). Once Delera is freed from the necromancer's control, she appears in humanoid form as a peaceful but tormented shade as she and Hargo Kimmare bestow the final quest. At the end of the final quest, the peaceful version of the shade grants the story arc end reward.

Description: The evil shade of Delera Omaren appears twice in the Delera's Tomb story arc. Delera's Shade attacks you near the conclusion of The Missing Party, as well as in Free Delera. Delera's Shade attacks as do other wraiths, but has greater hit points and typical boss immunities. Once Delera is freed from the necromancer's control, she appears in humanoid form as a peaceful but tormented ghost as she and Hargo Kimmare bestow the final quest.

After you defeat her for the second time, she will keep muttering the same thing over and over:

  • Delera: The necromancer... he no longer controls my will.
  • You: Your spirit is free. Why do you still haunt this place?
  • Delera: Hargo Kimmare... he was not to hurt the girl! I ORDERED IT!
    • You: Who is this man you speak of?
      • Delera: The girl... she was so young.
    • You: This is way too creepy. I'm out of here. (Walk away)

Return to Delera's Tomb[edit]

After you make Hargo confess, you can bring her the good news:

  • Delera: You must help me! Dreadlord Giddeon is trying to imprison me once again. He and his acolyte, Zan'glaen, are near here. I can sense them.
  • You: Wait! I had good news for you!
  • Delera: The imprisonment spell is taking hold. You must hurry! He is a foul beast... his eye... it watches me!
    • You: You're not going to listen to a word I say, are you? Very well, I'll try to find this necromancer you speak of. (Advance chain)
      • Delera: Find his lair... he will be watching you!
    • You: This is way too creepy. I'm out of here. (Walk away)

After advancing the chain, talking to her will only make her repeat:

  • Delera: The necromancer known as Giddeon is somewhere in the graveyard. I feel his presence.

After completing the quest, she will thank you:

  • Delera: You've vanquished Giddeon and given me back peace. I will be in your debt for eternity.
  • You: You can rest in peace now, Delera.

After taking the reward, talking to her again will make you receive the following:

  • Delera: The ghost in front of you looks peacefully into the distance.
