Pirate Treasure Map[edit]

DDO Examination Panel
  • Name: Pirate Treasure Map
  • Acquired from: Quest reward
  • Located in: Three-Barrel Cove (heroic)
  • Minimum Level: None
  • Binding: UnboundIcon tooltip.pngUnbound: This item is Unbound, and may take permanent damage.
  • Effect: Before opening a chest, use this map, and for the next 15 seconds you will get a +1 bonus to the quality of random loot in chests that you open.
  • Base Value: 0000100000100ppIcon tooltip.pngPlatinum Piece
  • Weight: 0.01 lbs
  • Stack size: 100
  • Notes:
  • The Pirate Treasure Map, the 3 items from the Corsair's CunningIcon tooltip.pngCorsair's Cunning:
2 Item Set Bonus: Underwater Action
3 Item Set Bonus: Feather Falling
set, the 4 'Scoundrel's type' weapons and Brine Shaman's Staff have a chance of appearing in the end reward list of any of the Three-Barrel Cove (heroic) quests, except Guard Duty. Every third completion you will receive a complete list.
  • After changes introduced in Update 46 Patch 2 and the following fixes, items that previously affected the level of loot, only affect the roll you make while determining the quality of loot. Getting +1 to the roll of 1d100 isn't changing the outcome much, so this item is almost useless.
  • This item only affects the loot for the player who has the effect when they open the chest. It does not affect the quality of loot for anyone else.
