Description | It shoots local gravity wells, for science. Aim at the big floating rock in the sky. | |
Notes | This wand generates floating platforms (versions of the octagonal buttons that are often used for Lights Out puzzles) that grant a Reverse Gravity effect if stepped on. Once this wears off, the character also gains 10 minutes of Feather Fall.
Aiming the platforms can be difficult - one will appear wherever the shot from the wand stops, either because it strikes a wall or it reaches maximum range. Try to aim for the castle walls and get as many attached to them as possible. Each platform starts with 10 charges, losing one every time it is stepped on. Charges also slowly decay over time. If the platform is near a Dimensional Anchor, it will announce this out loud, and start with several less charges. Wand charges regenerate fairly quickly, but if you run out it may be quicker to discard your current one and get a new one from Dorris (note the wands are exclusive, so you can't take multiple.) |
