If you try to talk to him anytime, he will reply:
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: Ah, <name>. Your efforts on Sigmund Bauerson's behalf have made for some interesting tavern tales! I represent House Kundarak, and if you ever need anything protected or kept safe, you should seek us out. Or are you looking for work?
- You: I might be available for a job....
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: House Kundarak has been hired to seal an altar for a wealthy harbor merchant. Haverdasher, one of our chief warders, is en route to the merchant's house to perform the sealing, but we'd like to make certain he is safe. Will you protect him while he finishes his task?
- You: I'd be glad to escort your warder.
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: Our client goes by the name of 'Eyegouger' -- charming, eh? -- and his home is quite nearby. Warder Haverdasher will meet you there.
- You: Understood. (Bestow quest)
- You: What exactly is House Kundarak's role in Stormreach?
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: House Kundarak is responsible for the safekeeping of many of the trade goods that find their way into Stormreach—those valuable enough to warrant our services, at least. We also offer private warding services to those with precious belongings to protect.
- You: Interesting. Is House Kundarak looking for help with anything? (see above)

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: Haverdasher will be waiting for you in Eyegouger's basement. Just make sure no harm befalls him... The city can be a dangerous place.
On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: Haverdahser has returned to the House Kundarak ward and related the help that you provided. Thank you for helping with our little vermin problem.
- You: It was not such a difficult fight. You are welcome.
After completing the quest and take the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: Thank you again for assisting our warder.
- You: Anything else happening in Stormreach?
- Kalimnal d'Kundarak: Shir Clowenks is House Phiarlan's local representative, and as likely as not, he's to be found drinking himself blind in the Leaky Dinghy. Can't blame him—he's stuck in the harbor on Zin's orders and bored out of his skull.
