|Target:||Foe, Positional, Breakable|
|Saving Throw:||Reflex save takes half damage and negates Blinded|
Sunburst causes a globe of searing radiance to explode silently from a point you select dealing to all creatures 6d6 points of light damage in addition to blinding them. Oozes and Undead take 1d3+3 light damage per caster level (Maximum caster level 25). A successful Reflex save reduces the damage by half and negates the condition Blinded. Light fearing Undead may be instantly destroyed by this spell if it fails its save.
Currently the only light fearing undead in DDO are Vampires and various forms of Shadows. Although some other undead do take increased damage from light they will not be instantly destroyed by this spell.
A creature to which sunlight is harmful or unnatural sometimes takes double damage. This rule varies in DDO, as some enemies only take 150%.
As of Update 36 Patch 2, the blindness inflicted by this spell is no longer permanent.
