Name: Ta Prin

Race: Sahuagin

Gender: Female

Bestows Quest(s): Into the Deep

Locations:

Description: <Sahuagin Rebel>

Notes: To conclude the journal entry The Sahuagin Stronghold properly, talk to Ta Prin once, then stop the conversation at first opportunity and collect the end reward.

The Red Fens[edit]

If you try to talk to her as soon as possible, she will reply:

  • Ta Prin: I have nothing to say to you, landwalker! Not now, not yet.

If you have completed the other three quests in the area, however, she will reply:

  • Ta Prin: You are the one the Raveneye sent? Good. You look more ... formidable ... than those bedraggled savages!
  • Ta Prin: I represent a group of rebel Deep Water sahuagin who wish to do what has never been done ... kill our own High Priestess.
  • Ta Prin: Normally this would be a grave offense against the Devourer. Yet this High Priestess has abandoned our god and taken up with some foul thing from another plane. She must die for this blasphemy!
  • Ta Prin: But still, it is not fitting for any sahuagin to do this deed. So I will teleport you to our base yonder. Once there, you can kill the heretic.
    • You: Your base is underwater! Do you want me to drown?
      • Ta Prin: I will teleport you to a safe place, where other rebels will meet you. There you will be provided with an enchantment that will allow you to survive underwater.
      • Ta Prin: Seek out Vizira when you arrive.
      • Ta Prin: So, are you ready to go?
        • You: I'm ready. Send me to your underwater base. (Bestow and start quest)
    • You: What thing from another plane?
      • Ta Prin: I do not know exactly. Some time ago our High Priestess learned that an invader from another plane was held trapped inside a ruin in this swamp.
      • Ta Prin: She sent an expedition to recover the Planar Fetter that bound the invader. Now that she has found the Fetter, the High Priestess has ceased to worship the Devourer, and says that this invader has transformed her into some kind of god. She must be stopped!
      • You: And why don't you sahuagin take care of her yourselves?
      • Ta Prin: It would be neither wise nor proper. Our laws forbid harming a High Priestess even if she is a blasphemer. Besides, we rebels hope to rule in her stead when the High Priestess is gone. It will be easier if her blood is on some surface dweller's hands.
      • Ta Prin: But we are wasting valuable time. Come, I will send you to our base. There my allies will cast an enchantment on you so you can breathe underwater.
        • You: I am ready to go. (See above)

Talking to her after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make she say:

  • Ta Prin: Come, I will send you back beneath the waves!
    • You: Yes, I wish to return to the underwater base. (Sent to quest)

On completion of quest, she will congratulate you with the following:

  • Ta Prin: Do not expect us to offer thanks, landwalker. Your act was shameful, though necessary. Still ... you have prevented my people from sliding into heathen barbarism. Take this and begone.

After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to her again, she will reply:

  • Ta Prin: So, landwalker, do you wish to aid us in our rebellion?

Into the Deep[edit]

After you defeat the Demon of the Frenzied Blood, she will open a portal to the demon pit. When you talk to her, she will say:

  • Ta Prin: You have surpassed our expectations in many ways, surfacer. The Devourer clearly favors you in the hunt!
  • Ta Prin: Take these trinkets as your reward. This portal will return you to our waters should you have unfinished business.
    • You: I assure you that none of the Dark Six aids me, Sahuagin, but you're welcome.
    • You: Yes, and you better keep that in mind. Leave off the demon worship next time.
