Talk:Multiclass

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Arg, who wrote this thing? Have you even played a multiclass in DDO? No, I see you haven't. It's just a paste from some D&D page, because it includes junk like "familiars" which is not found in DDO.

The critical pitfall of a DDO multiclass is the lack of extra enhancement slots.

I'm glad you're experienced enough to fill in the missing parts and make corrections. I'm sure everyone appreciates your contribution. But please keep in mind that not everyone has had the opportunity to be in the beta yet, and many pages on this wiki were first drafted from the D&D handbooks as an initial spring-board to start from. Please do not start flaming eachother on my site. Especially without logging in - legitimate arguments between users will be tolerated, but in any instance where an anonymous user is to cowardly to login to insult one of my members their comment will likely be deleted, and if it is of a serious nature, their IP will be banned. In response to the comment, dedridd is correct - if only beta-subscribed players contributed, our wiki would be almost empty. Thanks for you contribution, which I see, is none. *Sigh* I see somebody added a more DDO-related to the section at the bottom - if that was said anonymous user, thank you. If not well, thank you whoever it was. I am too lazy to check. ANyway, I went through and wikified it in a major way, and moved the incorrectly named links. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 16:50, February 6, 2006 (PST)

Merge with Multiclassing[edit]

See the discussion at Talk:Multiclassing. Elliott Cable - ?+¿ - ‹·› 02:17, April 28, 2006 (EDT)

I think this is wrong and should be corrected: Paladin: Like a member of any other class, a paladin may be a multiclass character, but multiclass paladins face a special restriction. A paladin who gains a level in any class other than paladin may never again raise her paladin level, though she retains all her paladin abilities. Regards, Bryond from Dorn (EU Server)

Maybe a little bit more info on what you think is wrong with it would be in order? lol I have no idea what you are talking about, so I can't fix it! P.S. Welcome to the wiki Bryond, and feel free to register an account (right here). [e] · t & c 16:43, October 31, 2006 (EST)
On the Multiclass page it is said that a Paladin can never raise a level as Paladin again, if he took one level in a different class. This is true for PnP but not for DDO. Bryond
Yep, this is wrong. I'm fixing it. Thanks! Tihocan 13:04, January 23, 2007 (EST)

This is a mess[edit]

Oh my God! this page is a a MESS. I want to cry. --Borror0 08:57, November 17, 2009 (EST)

LOL... well, I did all I could verify myself, someone else get the rest >.> --Cyanpill 20:59, November 17, 2009 (EST)

the art of multiclassing[edit]

Rewrote the art of multiclassing section a little as I felt it was inaccurate (it was 4 years old and talked about a lvl10 level cap anyway)
