If you try to talk to him, he will reply:

Tiragonis: You gaze upon the ancestral home of the giant-kind, <race>. Once this was the seat of a mighty kingdom, which ruled over all of Xen'drik. It has lain fallow and abandoned until now - now that rumors whisper that the Stormreaver has returned from beyond the pale.
Tiragonis: I do not know if he has returned or not, but the Giants surely have, and in droves. However, their lands are choked by warring Orc, Gnoll, and Hobgoblin clans - and worse.
Tiragonis: If you truly mean well, you will lend a hand in making these ruins whole and clean again.
- You: Very well. Tell me what needs to be done. (Bestow saga)
  - Tiragonis: To make this land a land of Giants once more, there is much to be done. Dangerous magic from the old war lurks in corners, warlike clans act like festers in its flesh ... all must be dealt with in turn.
