If you talk to her anytime, she will reply:

• Ulcana Braddock: Almost a month ago, a party descended into the sewers to chase a rumor of treasure. They never returned, and I have been retained to discover their fate. It is not likely to be pretty, but such are the realities of Stormreach. Do you wish to join the search?
  • You: Yes, I'd like to help.
    • Ulcana Braddock: Be careful down there. Kobolds and vermin are not the worst threats you face—sometimes wild creatures and wizards' experiments also find their way into these sewers. Forget not your caution, but find out the party's fate and return to me.
      • You: I'll be back before too long (Bestow quest)
  • You: I think that I will find something else to occupy my time.
    • Ulcana Braddock: Suit yourself. You will never know what you might have found. (Walk away)

Talking to her after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make she say:

• Ulcana Braddock: If those adventurers are dead, we must know why and how they died. It's probably the usual culprints, kobolds and such, but you woundl't believe some of the monsters that have turned up in these sewers.

On completion of quest, she will tell you with the following:

• Ulcana Braddock: They were all dead? This is sad news, but hardly unexpected. I will tell my client that the search is over. We never had a chance of saving these people, but thank you for trying.
• You: Of course. Though you might have warned me about all the traps....

After you get your reward, if you talk to her again, she will say:

• Ulcana Braddock: Thank you for learning the fate of the lost party. I only wish they had been found alive.
• You: Anyone else around here need help?
• Ulcana Braddock: If you don't enjoy wasting your time, I suggest you don't talk to Durk the Deranged. Don't even look at him sideways! He'll start blathering about his stupid secrets, and you'll never hear the end of it.
