Dashboard[edit]
Can you explain why there's such controversy over the /Dashboard page? I can understand the desire for "purity", but as a logged in/out user the template has a major usage difference and I'm sure that's not what you're intending. I'd love to see the Dashboard as a link in the same bar as <Game Mechanics> as a quick link for those of us who have been around forever. Christopher G Lewis (Contribs • Message • Email)
- That would depend on what you mean by controversy. There seems to be location and design controversy. As far as location goes, it is fine at
{{Dashboard}}. I would have put it at Project:Dashboard, like Project:Dashboard on Wikipedia; however, it has become a template now. Pages about DDO belong in content namespaces (main, item), and pages about the wiki belong in project (DDO wiki) namespace. As for design, I don't have an opinion on it. Template talk:Dashboard is the place to weigh in on the design. — Zav 21:26, April 27, 2017 (EDT)
