Effect: On Hit: 2 to 12 Bane Damage to your target and 1 to 3 Bane Damage to yourself. (Bane damage cannot be resisted.)

Note: the self damage is affected by dungeon scaling. In non-scaling areas (raids) you will always get the regular 1d3 damage. In normal quests/difficulties you will see anything from 1 always (often while soloing) to as high as 4 in full groups.
