The Last Stand

When you approach him for the first time, he will reply:

• Viercha Ettervs: You are neither Raveneye nor sahuagin. Why are you here, interloper?

I will not dishonor their memories by abandoning this place, nor will the Raveneye who stand with me. Not for the giants. Not for a dragon. And not some slimy sahuagin marauders!
  • You: I understand. But the force you face will overwhelm you all.
  • You: This will become your last stand. Is that what you truly wish?
    • (Both options follow to the same dialogue)
      • Viercha Ettervs: We know this, but we will not leave our home.
      • Viercha Ettervs: No, do not speak of this any more. You can not disuade us, no matter what words you use. This cavern is our home, and if Vulkoor decrees it, then it will be our grave.
        • You: Very well. But I will stand beside you in this battle.
        • You: I'm probably going to regret this, but... count me in.
        • (Both options follow to the same dialogue)
          • • Viercha Ettervs: Vulkoor blesses us with your strength! Together we will slaughter the sahuagin and turn back their invasion of our lands!
            • Viercha Ettervs: Do you hear them, <name>? Prepare yourself, the sahuagin are close by!
              • You: The sahuagin will regret coming to this place—I swear it! (Start battle)
  • You: Crazy fool! Leave now or you will all die here!
    • Viercha Ettervs: Then we die! What business is it of yours? Have you lost your home? Have you seen your people scattered to the four winds with death close on their heels? No—you simply travel Xen'drik and seek to satisfy your boundless avarice by looting my ancestors' graves!
    • Viercha Ettervs: You filthy, mud-sucking scum! If the sahuagin weren't about to assault this place I would kill you where you stand!
      • You: Perhaps you have what it will take to survive after all. I will fight with you.
        • Viercha Ettervs: If we did not then Vulkoor would strike us dead before we could walk. Remember that, <class>, now and always.
        • Viercha Ettervs: I hear the sahuagin slithering this way. Steel yourself for what lies ahead!
          • You: It's time to scale some fish! Bring it!! (Start battle)
      • You: Your words shame me. I must restore my honor by fighting beside you!
        • Viercha Ettervs: Console yourself how ever you wish... but your help is appreciated, <name>.
        • Viercha Ettervs: Listen! The sahuagin approach from the water. Prepare for battle!
          • You: Come taste cold steel, sea-scum! (Start battle)
      • You: Oh, I'm going to enjoy watching you fight and die, Drow.
        • Viercha Ettervs: If I fall, then I fall. At least I will die with my honor intact, dog!
        • Viercha Ettervs: I hear the sahuagin approaching!Prepare yourself. I will direct the battle from this place!
          • You: And here we go! (Start battle)

After the battle start, if you talk to him, he will randomly say one of those lines:

If he gets hurt during the battle, he will tell you some warnings:
