Altar of Epic Rituals
Altar of Epic Rituals is a crafting device introduced in Update 1 and greatly overhauled in Update 50. It allows you to convert your heroic items to their epic versions. This upgrade is available for the following adventure packs:
- The Chronoscope
- Phiarlan Carnival
- The Red Fens
- Sands of Menechtarun
- Sentinels of Stormreach
- Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh
- The Vault of Night
- Web of Chaos
The altar is located in the Twelve next to Lahar.
Recipes[edit]
The recipes require a heroic version of the item, 50 pack-specific ingredients (listed below), and, in case of raid items, 5 Greater Token of the Twelve
- Crystallized Spiderweb
- Desert Sand Crystal
- Fractured Sliver of Time
- Glowing Fen Mushroom
- Medal of House Deneith
- Scrap of Patterned Cloth
- Vault Key
- Saltmeadow Hay
Warning[edit]
Item conversion at the altar deletes the heroic item and creates an epic version from scratch. The following item upgrades are lost:
- Mythic bonus
- Reaper bonus
- Alchemical rituals
- Any slotted augments
