9 of these, along with 9 Ancient Elven Relics and Ancient Dragon Relics, used to be needed for access to Gianthold Tor; this has since been removed. They can also be traded for some augments with Ruskin Blackboot (level 12 augments) or Meliager Ei'n (level 16 augments.)
