The Marketplace[edit]
If you try to talk to him while at level 2 or lower, he will reply:
- Black-Nose Quint: Ahoy there! I be looking for some strong arms to sail to Three Barrel Cove.
- Black-Nose Quint: But, ye don't look like you'll last too long in the pirate's life. Come back and talk to me again when you have more experience.
If you are at level 3 or higher, however, he will reply:
- Black-Nose Quint: Ahoy there! Do ye be lookin' for a little extra work?
- Black-Nose Quint: Commodore Bloodeye is short-handed over at Three Barrel Cove. He's always looking for lads and lasses to take care of whatever needs takin' care of.
- Black-Nose Quint: Be your interest piqued?
- You: It is. How do I get to Three Barrel Cove?
- Black-Nose Quint: Well, first head through the South Gate to the Harbor.
- Black-Nose Quint: Once ye be out there, look for Nadine Shipton on one of the piers. She's got a ship docked there.
- Black-Nose Quint: Just tell 'er ye want to go to Three Barrel Cove, and she'll have you there before you know it.
- Black-Nose Quint: Commodore bloodeye will be at the port in Three Barrel. Tell him ol' Quint sent ya!
- You: What's this Three Barrel Cove? And who's Commodore Bloodeye?
- Black-Nose Quint: Garr! Ye never heard of Three Barrel?
- Black-Nose Quint: Why, that's where every pirate on the Thunder Sea weighs anchor and spends his hard-earned plunder.
- Black-Nose Quint: As ye can imagine, so many pirates in one place can cause a wee bit o' trouble.
- Black-Nose Quint: That's why Commodore Bloodeye is looking for extra hands there. The Pirate Lords put him in charge o' keeping the peace, you see.
- You: All right, I'll go and help. How do I get to Three Barrel Cove? (see above)
- You: It is. How do I get to Three Barrel Cove?
After you complete the quest, he will say:
- Black-Nose Quint: Ahoy, <name>. Did te find Three Barrel to your liking?
- Black-Nose Quint: You know, that's where many a sailor has found his fortune. As for me, well, I already got my finder's fee for sending you to Commodore Bloodeye over there.
