Litany of The Dead Part 1 is a story arc given out in The Necropolis. The story arc consists of five main quests.

Litany of The Dead Part 1

• Tomb of the Burning Heart - bestowed by Skorn
• Tomb of the Crimson Heart - bestowed by Fram Redbones
• Tomb of the Immortal Heart - bestowed by Vikram Nanpoor
• Tomb of the Sanguine Heart - bestowed by Raddha Cross

The final quest will only be available when the four flagging quests show as (Completed) in your quest log, meaning do NOT choose to repeat them when you turn them in. If you select repeat on any of them, the flagging is lost and you will not be able to run Bloody Crypt until you complete those quests again.

• The Bloody Crypt - bestowed by Loremistress Jinna

Once you complete Bloody Crypt and turn it in, you now have two options. To rerun the entire chain, speak to Loremistress Jinna a second time and have her reset the entire chain.

To rerun Bloody Crypt without doing all four flagging quests again, don't speak to Loremistress Jinna a second time after turning in Bloody Crypt. Instead, with Bloody Crypt showing as (Completed), open your quest log and abandon one of the flagging quests, usually Immortal Heart. Now go re-acquire the quest you just abandoned, run it, and turn it in so it shows as (Completed). Once done, go talk to Loremistress Jinna and choose to repeat Bloody Crypt. She'll even say that this won't reset the whole chain, so this is likely by design.

Emerald Claw Nugget

• Emerald Claw Nugget can be upgraded once to become an Emerald Claw Amulet.

Silver Flame Nugget

• Silver Flame Nugget can be upgraded once to become a Silver Flame Amulet.

Scarab Collectibles

Scarabs are acquired in the end chest of each quest. Combine each of the following in the Stone of Change:

• Bloody Scarab
• Charred Scarab - From the Tomb of the Burning Heart
• Crimson Scarab - From the Tomb of the Crimson Heart
• Ruddy Scarab - From the Tomb of the Sanguine Heart
• Twitching Scarab - From the Tomb of the Immortal Heart

This will make a Scarlet Scarab Powder that need to be turned in to Squire Rale in The Necropolis for any one of the following:

• Lumric's Longbow - +3 Longbow: ML4 Ghost Touch, Red Augment Slot: EmptyRed Augments
  • Named: Category:Red augments
  • DR bypass: Alignment, Material
  • Elemental damage: +1d6 to +9d6
  • Spell Power (Enhancement bonus): +38 to +153
  Colorless Augments
  • Named: Category:Colorless augments
  • Ability (Enhancement bonus): +1 to +14
  • Ability (Exceptional bonus): +1
  • Ability (Insight bonus): +5
  • Skills, except UMD (Competence bonus): +5 to +20
• Touch of the Silver Flame - Trinket: ML5 Lesser Undead GuardLesser Undead Guard: This armor burns those Undead that attack the wearer, causing 1d8 Good damage on a successful melee attack.
• Signal of the Silver Flame - Trinket: ML5 Lesser TurningLesser Turning: Increases total number of Turn Undead uses by 2, once wielder rests. If you unequip the item you will lose these turns.

Note that Squire Rale will not recognize your Scarlet Scarab Powder if it is inside your Ingredients Bag - you will need to move it into your inventory.
