The Coin Lords

The Coin Lords are a group of powerful merchants and traders, and the ostensible rulers of Stormreach. However, their power has greatly waned over time, and many other organizations such as the Houses now rule large chunks of Stormreach. These powerful organizations all exist in a temporary and tense peace with one another.

The Coin Lords's representative in Stormreach is Montague Goudreau. Some of Stormreach’s more visible Coin Lords are Berrigan Enge and Derek Grospic, who run city affairs, and the Harbormaster Zin, who is responsible for the docks area and the flow of goods in and out of the city.

The Coin Lords are lead by five families of merchants. The five heads of the houses are the most senior Coin Lords, sometimes called the Storm Lords. These consist of Yorrick Amanatu, Graden Wylkes, Delera Omaren IV, Varen Lassite and Kirris Sel Shadra.

Name Location Description
Delera Omaren Delera's Tomb Delera Omaren was a very powerful woman in Stormreach. Later in life she became the city's benefactor, the closest thing we had to a saint. Before she died she ordered the construction of a mausoleum where the city's poor could be buried for free. She herself was buried there.

She is also the great-grandmother of Delera Omaren IV, one of Stormreach's Coin Lords.

Yorrick Amanatu The Marketplace <Coin Lord>
He is a dwarven warrior and is one of Stormreach's four Coin Lords who rule the city through force, wit or deception. Yorrick is seen as a grim dwarf who allows anyone of any background to serve under him as long as their loyalties are absolute. Thus, he commands the respect of men whom he has given a second chance.
Delera Omaren IV Partycrashers * The great-granddaughter of the famed benefactor, Delera Omaren, Delera IV is one of the four Coin Lords in Lordsmarch Plaza. She and other Coin Lords are troubled by the approach of Droaam forces near Stormreach. She and other Coin Lords are attacked by Hesstess and turned to stone, awaiting rescue in the quest, Eyes of Stone. Delera IV bestows the final quest that rids Stormreach of the Droaam invasion, Siegebreaker, and offers a quest end reward (another NPC in the Plaza offers the story arc's final end reward).

Harbormaster Zin The Harbor Zin is the person responsible for organizing the harbor, including ship schedules and taxes. However, when you first meet him, he is more worried about some children kidnapping happening in the Waterworks.

Harbor Guard The Harbor The Harbor Guards are employed by Coin Lord Wylkes to monitor who comes and goes in the Stormreach Harbor and collect fees, tariffs, taxes, and bribes. Their first priority is to ensure the Coin Lords get their money but they also engage with refugees entering Stormreach and recruit adventurers to do various tasks required by the Coin Lords.

Favor Ranks

Completing tasks and missions for the various patrons will increase your favor, which is a measure of how valuable the different patrons find your character. At each new rank, the patron representative will provide a character with a reward.
