Cold Iron
Cold Iron: This iron mined deep underground, known for its effectiveness against fey creatures, is forged at a lower temperature to preserve its delicate properties.
Cold iron weapons will also overcome the damage reduction of fey creatures, such as Dryads or Satyrs.
When combined with Good damage types, Cold Iron weapons are able to overcome the damage reduction of most Demons like Fire Reavers or Flesh Renders. See Monster DR and weaknesses for specifics.
Cold Iron weapons have equivalent hardness ratings to those made of steel.
Blessed Cold Iron weapons[edit]
Available in the in-game DDO Store and can be crafted using Cannith Crafting. These weapons are Bound to Character
Bound to Character: This item is Bound to Character.
Blessed Cold iron weapons are considered Good and overcome the damage reduction of most fey creatures like Dryads or Satyrs AND the damage reduction of most Demons like Fire Reavers or Flesh Renders.
