The Harbor

If you try to talk to him, he will reply:

• Durk the Deranged: I've got a secret! I've got a secret!
  • You: What's your secret?
    • Durk the Deranged: Uh, uh, can't tell you. It wouldn't be a secret then!
    • You: You don't have a secret.
    • Durk the Deranged: Really? You sure?
    • Durk the Deranged: That's wonderful! Now I know it's REALLY a secret!
    • You: What if I know your secret, and I'm not telling you? Then it's not a secret at all.
    • Durk the Deranged: You know about the Den of the Kobold Brothers? Two kobolds squabbling in the Harbor's sewers? Someone could kill 'em and take their loot while they're having their spat!
    • Durk the Deranged: No? Of course you don't know that! My secret's safe!
    • You: It sure is. Bye, Durk. (Bestow quest)
  • You: You sure do have a secret. Bye, Durk. (Walk away)

Talking to him after acquiring or completing the quest will make he say exactly the same thing as above.

On completion of quest, you inform him about the death of the kobold brothers:

• Durk the Deranged: I've got a secret! I've got a secret!
• You: Hey, Durk! I know all out about your secret, and I killed the kobold brothers too!
• Durk the Deranged: No, you didn't! You made it up!
• Durk the Deranged: And... you can't prove those were MY kobolds anyway!
• Durk the Deranged: Ha! My secret's still safe!
• You: Well, thanks for the tip. Keep being crazy, I guess.

The Sane Asylum

You can find Durk as soon as you enter the quest. When you talk to him, he will reply:

The Twelve

If you try to talk to him while at level 15(?) or lower, he will reply:

• Durk the Deranged: Durk's got secrets! Durk's got secrets! You have none! Nah nana nah nah!

If you are at level 16 or higher, however, he will reply:

• Durk the Deranged: ????????????????

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:

• Durk the Deranged: ????????????????

On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:

After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:

Good Intentions

He resides in the sewers and if you give him Nibbles, his squirrel friend, back, he will trade you a Unicorn Horn so you can craft the wand to take down the Animatic.
