Explorer

The objective of an Explorer quest is to find points of interest in the wilderness area, usually broken up between Lore and Dungeon Entrances. Each point found grants a small amount of experience, and completing all the Explorers for a wilderness adventure area grants a larger bonus experience award. Revisiting a location will not grant any additional XP.

An Explorer quest is automatically granted upon entering a wilderness adventure area for the first time. It cannot be reset, shared or abandoned. Leaving the area does not reset the locations already found. Completion of Explorer quests do not confer any Favor, but will reveal the whole map permanently for this character.

Each area has a set difficulty level with a corresponding minimum and maximum character levels. A character with a higher level than the maximum level suffers XP penalty towards the Explorer quest.

XP Penalty
One level higher 50%
Two levels higher 67%
Three levels higher 75%
Four levels higher 80%
