Description

You can slay any one living creature within range. The target is entitled to a Fortitude saving throw to survive the attack. If the save is successful, the creature instead takes 7-12 negative energy damage per caster level (Maximum caster level 25 or 50d3+150) damage.

The subject might die from damage even if it succeeds on its saving throw.

Finger of Death is a death effect, and as such a Deathblock item, or Deathward spell will provide immunity.

  • The damage in the description (7-12) does not accurately represent the dice notation provided at the bottom of the description (2d3+6).
