Floating Leaf (L20 Ranger/Monk)[edit]

The Floating Leaf is inspired by many of the uber monk splash builds in these forums. I tweaked it to suit a 28 pointer so a new player can have access to an uber build as well. I'm currently running the 32 point version with a higher str and he is absolutely a graceful sight to behold. Even with basic equipment, the Floating Leaf has a decent AC when dual wielding. This gives it the chance to all out attack the enemy, inflicting destruction. What is terrifying with the Floating Leaf is the amount of improvement it can have access to when you are ready to join the elite folks. The projected end AC of this build will be 70+, sufficient to take on the meanest raid boss and not get a scratch. Have fun with the destruction.

Note: The Floating Leaf uses rapiers as its main weapons. While using non monk weapons, this causes the Floating Leaf to be uncentered. However, this does not cause it to lose the monk AC bonuses. Monk weapons are not used due to their lower DPS potential.
