If you try to talk to him while at level 7 or lower, he will reply:

• Hallestrom: Hallestrom looks you up and down then snorts.

If you are at level 8 or higher, however, he will reply:

• Hallestrom: Hallestrom looks you up and down then snorts.
  • You: You got a problem buddy?
    • Hallestrom: Yeah, I do. The tomb I'm supposed to raid is full of noxious water and deadly vines and to make things worse, the Silver Flame already tried to assault it. But you don't look like you'd be able to do anything about it.
      • You: You don't think so? I'll take care of this tomb for you, just point me in the right direction.
        • Hallestrom: It's out in the back of the graveyard, near the road leading up to the Black Mausoleum. And if you find any survivors of their attack, give them my best wishes before you run them down.
          • You: Consider your problem taken care of. (Bestow quest)

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:

• Hallestrom: I knew you couldn't do it.
  • You: I haven't yet, but I'm on my way.

On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:

• Hallestrom: Hallestrom stands before you, stunned.
  • You: What's the matter? Not man enough to acknowledge you were wrong?
    • Hallestrom: I'm surprised is all. And impressed. You have proven me wrong. Thank you for clearing the tomb.
      • You: You're welcome. Don't forget it.

After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:

• Hallestrom: I haven't yet, but I'm on my way. (possible bug)
