Upper Necropolis[edit]
If you try to talk to him while at level 9 or lower, he will reply:
- Holton Kisane: Vol showed me the path, but you were brave enough to walk it.
If you are at level 10 or higher, however, he will reply:
- Holton Kisane: The Emerald Claw soldier has his eyes closed and is mumbling to himself.
- You: Hello?
- Holton Kisane: Ahh, hello <Name>. Sorry, I didn't get much sleep last night. I had the most peculiar dream.
- You: What happened in it?
- Holton Kisane: I was approached by the Lady Vol and one of her High Priests. She told me this priest would aid us against the Black Abbot, all I had to do was find him and convince him.
- You: Sounds easy enough, how come he's not here?
- Holton Kisane: Two reasons. First, that swine of a Silver Flame Sir Rohine won't let me off watch. Second, she said the High Priest was in the Desecrated Temple of Vol, a place the Black Abbot's forces sacked and destroyed centuries ago. Nothing could have survived that. I must have just been dreaming.
- You: I'll go look into it. (Bestow quest)
Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:
- Holton Kisane: Have you found the High Priest yet?
On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:
- Holton Kisane: Tell me what you saw, quickly!
- You: We found the High Priest, and several survivors of the destruction. Vol had made them all into vampires.
- Holton Kisane: So we have an army of vampires to assault the Black Abbot with? This is wondrous news <Name>.
- You: No, unfortunately I had to kill all but the High Priest. However, they were weakened, having not been able to feed for so long. The High Priest has sworn his power to aid our cause in the battle against the Black Abbot, though.
- Holton Kisane: That is a shame that they all had to die. It must have been how the Lady willed it though. You have done well to gain the aid of the High Priest. With his powers we shall surely triumph.
- You: I think we'll need more than just him, but it's a good start.
After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:
- Holton Kisane: Vol showed me the path, but you were brave enough to walk it.
