Item talk:Epic Shield of Tireless Aid

From DDO wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Mine seems to have an additional property not shown on the page:

'Mythic Shield Boost +2: +2 Mythic bonus to the target's Physical and Magical Resistance Ratings'

Obviously the Topaz of Evocation is not providing that effect. I have tried on a couple other shields to be certain that this is not an effect being provided by something else which I am overlooking such as an Epic Destiny. And I took the screenshot while the shield was not being worn or my Epic Destiny effect of Blessed Blades and my Guild buff effect of Increased Weapon Die would be seen on the item.

The amount of PRR and MRR provided by the shield is 12, which matches the 10 expected from a large shield and the +2 from the Mythic Shield Boost.

Looking at the page revision history it appears as though the image was uploaded on July 22nd, and U27 was implemented on July 27th, so I'm going to assume that the image posted is from Lammania before a final change was implemented.

No. U27 items come in different degreees of Mythicness, Update_27_named_items#Trials_of_the_Archons. The higher difficulty, the higher chance of high mythic bonus.--Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 07:27, August 26, 2015 (EDT)
  • Mythic Shield Boosts (and weapon boost and armor boost etc) should be listed in the enhancements by template, but should be avoided in screenshots. Someone will need to make that template, and it'll be a couple weeks before I can if someone else is interested. ShoeMaker (ContribsMessage) 11:59, August 26, 2015 (EDT)
