My Guild Leader tested these gloves in the Orchard with a longbow against incorpreals and it did indeed bypass his miss chance. Is this intentional or is it a fluke? Will the gloves work with thrown weapons?
I've tested the Cloak of Night myself and it does indeed bypass my miss chance against incorpreals with my bows. lol.

the item description clearly states its just for "melee attacks", but it works with bows then. thrown weapons, we don't know, could you test that out yourself?

I would also be interested to know if it helps against ranged spell attacks aka Scorching Ray etc.

in DDO, ray spells have no attack rolls.
