Nothing Is Hidden

From DDO wiki

Nothing is Hidden is a racial Enhancement for all elves (Elf, Drow and Sun Elf, as a Tier 2 ability) and Shadar-kai as a Tier 4 ability. It allows Search checks for traps and secret doors to be done without actually triggering the Search skill.

AP Cost: 1 Ranks: 1 Progression: 5 (Elves); 15 (Shadar-kai) Requires: Keen Senses (Elves); None (Shadar-kai)

This enhancement seems to have two different mechanisms, one for secret doors, one for traps/control boxes.

For the control traps/control boxes, it works for objects which you would be normally able to spot. A Search check is performed immediately after successful Spot check and, when the Search is successful too, no "your acute senses has detected..." message is issued, but the whereabouts of the object are immediately revealed. With insufficient Spot (and high enough Search) nothing is found, with sufficient Spot (but low Search) standard Spot warning is issued. The penalty described in the enhancement only applies to the Search checks made, not to Spot checks. In the environments with a large number of objects to be found (for example suddenly populated traps in the end fight of Siegebreaker or for traps consisted of large number of metal spikes where each spike is considered a separate object) the ability usually fails to detect all objects at the same time. Moving out of Spot distance and going back usually reveals more/all hidden objects, or standard Search action reveals them all.

For the Secret doors, the Spot DCs are very low, and 5 DC lower than the required Search DC for the Secret door. More testing verification needed; Nothing is Hidden was able to indicate a Secret door was, near even without any skill points attributed to Spot. Though the Secret door itself will not be "revealed" unless your Search skill is also high enough to uncover the door.

If a secret door has been found, the player will be notified by two glowing, golden eyes above the character's head in combination with an audio feedback. This happens every time a player passes by any secret door, no matter if it has already been found/opened or not.[UnverifiedIcon tooltip.png" This happens every time a player passes by any secret door, no matter if it has already been found/opened or not." has not been verified in-game. Please verify it!] Some dungeons that use open secret doors purely for visuals might also trigger this effect, even though there isn't any door to find/open.
