Notes: You can find an Ogre Skull behind the door left from Ghola-Fan throne. You can bring it to this ogre to convince him to drop the ladder without a skill check. At some point in the past the skull dropped from your inventory when you exited the quest, rendering this NPC with no way to drop the ladder but it's fixed now.

• Ogre Deserter: I do not care what Ghola-Fan says. Clan Runetusk does not need monsters from Khyber to make us mighty! When the brain-eaters tire of feasting on savages, they will turn on us. We are nothing but meat to them. But I have no proof, and my brothers will not listen....

  • You (if with Ogre Khan's Skull): In Ghola-Fan's Compound, I found the skull of a mighty ogre. It was shattered by the brain-eaters....
    • Ogre Deserter: The ogre roars in triumph. 'This will prove to my brothers that we have been tricked! The Runetusks will never again be slaves and food for the brain-eaters! I will show you how to kill our enemies, but first you must give me the skull.
      • You: Give the Shattered Ogre Skull to the ogre.
        • Ogre Deserter: The brain-eaters betrayed my clan. Kill them! Kill them all!
