The Red Fens[edit]
If you try to talk to him when you first arrive at the fens, he will reply:
- Ravenwing: I regret I cannot welcome you, outsider. Our village has been destroyed and our people enslaved. Unless you can defeat the sahuagin, I have nothing to say to you.
- You: I have come to help you fight the sahuagin.
- Ravenwing: Good. If you wish to help the Raveneye clan, speak with my clanmates. Gullwing, Croaker, and Craneclaw all have tasks for you.
After you finish helping the mentioned clan members, he will reply:
- Ravenwing: My people say you have done much for the Raveneye clan, outsider. For this I thank you, and welcome you as a friend.
- Ravenwing: Yet I must ask one more favor of you - something I cannot ask any Raveneye clan member to do. You must make an alliance with the sahuagin!
- You: Ally with the sahuagin? I thought they were your enemy!
- Ravenwing: Indeed, they are. However, I have just been contacted by a group of sahuagin rebels who wish to overthrow their current leader.
- Ravenwing: They want the sahuagin High Priestess slain. It would be a grave offense to their god if a sahuagin were to do the deed. I wish to help them slay her - yet I cannot ask any Raveneye to aid the sahuagin who invaded our home and killed our clanmates.
- Ravenwing: So I turn to you, outsider. You can do what we cannot. Seek out Ta Prin, one of the sahuagin rebels. She is in a secluded location far to the north of the ancient ziggurat. She will have more to tell you.
- You: I will help you. I will seek out Ta Prin in the Red Fens. (Bestow quest)
Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:
- Ravenwing: What are you doing here? Go to Ta Prin and travel to the sahuagin base! You will find her somewhere to the north of the ancient ziggurat.
After completing the quest, if you talk to him again, he will reply:
- Ravenwing: My friend, the sahuagin's time in the Red Fens is about to end. You have the thanks of the Raveneye clan!
