Research Assistant Gadbin
Name: Gadbin
Race: Halfling
Gender: Male
Location: Redwillow's Ruins, in Redwillow's camp
Description: He is one of the four surviving research assistants of Falcor Redwillow's expedition (Caldia, Gadbin, Jada, and Sil).
Redwillow's Ruins[edit]
When you first meet him at the camp, he will reply:
- Gadbin: They washed over us in the night, socres of hobgoblins, bugbears and worse. They burst from the jungles and stomped out our fires, ran a goodly number of innocent folks through, then forced us to flee with our skins and little else. Redwillow raced from camp to camp screaming for everyone to flee—I know it sounds less than heroic, but he was right, and those who didn't listen perished. In the end, only the five of us survived.
After you talk to Redwillow, but has not yet retrieved their items, he will say:
- Gadbin: Make certain you recover all the items that you were told about. I shall collect the research notes, Sil gets the precious container, Caldia will pack the personal effects of Falcor's lost chief assistants, and Jada is waiting for her necklace.
After finding all the items, if you are in possession of the Research Notes, he will say:
- Gadbin: Do you have the research notes that I require?
- You: Yes, I do.
- Gadbin: Thank you. These notes are invaluable.
After delivering all the items to all four assistants, he will reply:
- Gadbin: We have everything we need to leave, though it's possible Redwillow will want to accomplish more before we break camp. Thank you for your help.
