Description: The Shadow Guard is one of the members of The Shadow Council. He wants your help to take care of Kamenwati so that he can open the way to The Shadow Crypt.

You meet him at the entrance of this quest. When you talk to him, he will reply:

• Shadow Guard: To think, this place used to be my palace, and now it's nothing more than a pile of rubble. And then there's the water. I almost drowned in a lake when I was a kid, I can't stand water.
• You: Right, anyway, how do I get to Kamenwati?
• Shadow Guard: The halls have mostly collapsed and caved in so the only way is through the caves, under the water. There are three guards along the way, protecting the path to the guardian. Janos is first.
• You: Thankfully, unlike yourself, the water doesn't scare me at all.
• Shadow Guard: While you're down there swimming you may come across some patches of moss. I've been told those will grant the user the ability to breathe underwater. But take time to refresh themselves.
