Core abilities[edit]
Bastion of Purity: For each Core Ability you claim in this tree, you gain 10 Positive Energy Spell Power, which affects your monk finishing moves and spell-like abilities. Your Positive Healing Amplification is also increased by 10% for each Shintao Monk Core Ability you possess.

Violence Begets Violence: While Centered, when an opponent misses you in melee, you gain +1 critical threat range for 6 seconds. This stacks up to 5 times and is reset if you critically hit.
Minor bug: The in-game description states that this effect only takes place while Earth Stance is active. It has been tested to work in Ocean Stance, and presumably also works in the other stances.
