Something Broke[edit]

Uh oh, something has been badly broken on this page. It appears to have something to do with the content on A Vision of Destruction loot . I made the last edit on this page ages ago and I know it didn't look like this then. Could somebody who knows how the templates work please take a look at this?

template:dmg is broken --Cru121 (ContributionsMessage) 14:29, March 13, 2013 (EDT)
Oh I see, didn't notice that template had been edited less than an hour ago. Seems there might be a missing bracket or paranthesis somewhere Wink.

Cru is correct. The last addition to dmg template have broken it's functionality. The template's responsible for over a hundred item modifications which makes it rather cumbersome, and difficult to update. ( This is only one of the reasons I gave when suggesting splitting template up in to smaller templates, but I could find no one to agree with me.)

I'll do a roll back to fix it for the time being, and work on correctly adding the functionality Shoe was trying to add. -Joe

Well, I tried. I dont have permission to rollback, and it seems I dont have permission to edit that particular template either. Attemps to even pull up that template give me Service Unavailable - The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later message. I believe the solution is going to be that someone with higher privileges will need to roll back, and Shoe will have to fix it correctly at his convenience.

I am an admin and I am also getting Service Unavailable. Looks like a major borkage.

Locked Out[edit]

I was leading a group of adventurers into the raid tonight (04/01/14) and failed to enter at the same time as the party. As a 'reward' for my mistiming, I was locked in a small room with a rest shrine and could not enter the meaty part of the raid. The raid finished and I was still locked in the room. Though I did get the quest completion, I was unable to take part in the potatoey goodness that my party members enjoyed.

Is this something that I should have known going in? The write-up here has no mention of this penalty box. I'm adding a prelude entry to the page highlighting this fact. If anyone feels that this edit is in error, by all means, remove it.

Almost all raids have a lock-out door that goes up when the raid starts (or in the case of Vision of Destruction and The Shroud a portal that disappears when the raid starts). All of them should be described in the wiki's page with exactly when they lock (and should be added if they aren't already). Backley (ContributionsMessage) 15:10, January 4, 2014 (EST)
