Talk:Arcane Archer enhancements

Root of the tree[edit]

The edits made on this page are based on this thread: DDO Forums. ----Krlkch (ContributionsMessage) 13:40, April 13, 2013 (EDT)

Edited Force Arrows. Per game description the 1d10 to 3d10 is based on weapon critical multiplier, meaning it is not a d3 random determination. The quirky thing about this in-game description is that all short & long bows already have at least a 3x critical multiplier, meaning Force Burst from Force Arrows 3 should always be 3d10. -- Freememory (ContribsMessage) 03:38, August 2, 2019 (EDT)

Tier 5 Enhancement missing[edit]

Arcane archer seems to have gotten a new tier 5 enhancement at some point, which is missing. It would be in the middle between Arrow of Slaying and Improved Ele Arrow (who could have guessed). Active (square icon), name is Final Strike, icon is the same as Prism from the Shiradi Champion destiny. Ingame description is "Ranged Archery attack: The first enemy hit triggers an area attack that inflicts Vulnerability and deals damage. More injured enemies receive increased damage."

AP cost 2

SP cost on activation 5 SP

18sec cooldown

Requires level 12, ranger level 5

I'm too stupid to add it myself. Also I can't say that it works as I expected it to work, it seems that the attack gives one stack of Vulnerability, which seems kind of useless considering the Vulnerability duration of 3 seconds vs. the ability cooldown of 18secs, also it seems to only damage the enemy hit, however that damage is increased by some strange amount. I can't say I noticed a difference between hitting one in a group of 3 or one in a group of five.
