Template[edit]

I templatized this page because, while wanting to put the data in a table so that the quantity and rewards data stood out better, I didn't want to overwhelm the casual editor with the syntax of doing a table by hand. Hopefully this doesn't cause any problems, but if so, it can always be reverted back to the previous version. Dedridd 13:35, February 1, 2006 (PST)

Wow, didnt even know this stuff had a table, thought it was all random. Will have to keep an eye out for what i get in the stress test. Big Gino 10:52, February 7, 2006 (PST)
Actually, it has a more specific table then even what's placed here. I've found that when it's listed as something like "Spell Level 2 Scroll", that NPC will actually have 3 or 4 specific level 2 scrolls, not just any. Same for potions & wands. The +1 Armor w/ Effect entries seem to be the most random. darB 11:35, February 7, 2006 (PST)
That's good to know. I'll put in updates with some of the specific items I get, and see if we can end up gathering a more detailed list for the potions, scrolls, and "w/ effect" items. Dedridd 11:39, February 7, 2006 (PST)
After noticing this pattern I started making notes of specifics. I'll add in what I know. Oh, and I *believe* that when a collector rewards both scroll/wand for his 3/2 rewards they are from the same small set of spells, but am not 100% certain. darB 13:04, February 7, 2006 (PST)

Spam checker[edit]

Had to temporarily replace H e llscap by H3llscap, hopefully the spam checker will be fixed to allow overriding it in the future. Tihocan 16:16, March 21, 2006 (EST)

Try {{tlink|h3ll}} hehe (-; (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.)

Printer-friendly version[edit]

We need a printer-friendly version of this page. Most people want to print it to have it available when they play. Peer, I remember you saying somwehere that you had something in the work? Tihocan 15:01, March 23, 2006 (EST)

Click page toolbox on the sidebar /sighs - it's not working perfect yet, but as soon as I can define a printable stylesheet, we're in the green. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.)
Here it is! :) I'm afraid noone is going to print that though, much too many pages. Maybe we should try to write a condensed version, that can be easily printed on a couple of pages. Tihocan 15:41, March 23, 2006 (EST)
You write the short version, I'll make it printable. Deal?
Yes. Won't do it today though, I'll need to figure out exactly what's the best way to do it. Tihocan 16:33, March 23, 2006 (EST)
Can we have multiple printable versions? Given the sheer number of collectibles, many people are only interested in a condensed list of the rare collectibles, so they know what to keep and what to destroy. Perhaps we need a printable complete version, as well as a rare-only printable version? Dedridd 09:18, March 24, 2006 (EST)
Sounds fine to me. Technically, this is getting complicated, however. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.)
Actually, thinking about it a bit more, I think I'll just make a PDF file (compiled from Latex) so that people can easily print it. And yes, I think I'll keep only the interesting collectibles (trying to be as objective as possible). The source of the Latex file will be on the Wiki so that anyone can edit it, and I'll keep it updated with the latest additions to this page. Tihocan 13:29, March 24, 2006 (EST)

Rosy Swamp Pearl Turn-ins[edit]

When I turned these in I received +1 Bane Ammunition (arrows or bolts). Also, when I turned in Verdant Swamp Pearls I received a +2 Dwarven Axe and also +1 Bane Ammunition. --Rebecca 12:11, September 18, 2010 (EDT)

U32[edit]

In light of this forum post (DDO Forums), does this page need to be retired/completely rewritten? C-Hound (ContribsMessage) 17:40, September 15, 2016 (EDT)

  • It needs rewriting. I've archived a copy here. — Zav(T·C) 20:27, September 15, 2016 (EDT)

Node?[edit]

Is collectable node an official term? If not, I'm sure we could come up with a more intuitive term, such as collectable source or collectable receptacle. Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 21:09, October 3, 2016 (EDT)

Or collectable device. I'll go with that until overruled. Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 19:58, October 4, 2016 (EDT)
nah, "collectable node" is fine. once was official. developer Eladrin, Codog, everyone used to use it. --yoko5000 (ContribsMessage) 13:31, October 9, 2016 (EDT)

Formatting changed[edit]

This page is now unreadable, at least for me. It looks like one of the formatting templates may have changed. Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 13:54, April 18, 2018 (EDT)

Up to date augment bonuses (as of U48)[edit]

I see a bit of redundancy in showing the augment bonuses in this page and also in the first table of Augment Slot/Purchasable Augments. Nevertheless, I think you can modify the augment bonuses here using the values from the other page, which are up to date as of Update 48. MrLizard (ContribsMessage) 14:07, November 23, 2020 (EST)

I think there's some merit to having the bonuses listed here because it saves a click or alt-tab to another page to reference what is possible to get. Since this is a vendor reference page, it "feels" right to me to have the relevant information collected (i.e. what caster level an effect is at, etc).| Treefolk (ContribsMessage) 01:48, November 24, 2020 (EST)|

U48 augments[edit]

Slow down in there. I don't think the new augments such as Sapphire of Dodge and Topaz of Spell Penetration can be obtained from the collectable collectors. When Update 48 arrived, I updated all the values in Augment Slot/Purchasable Augments. I went through each one of the collectable collectors, and they were selling just the same old augments but with updated values in their tooltips (even the barter UI is still outdated). MrLizard (ContribsMessage) 17:33, November 23, 2020 (EST)

My intent was to verify this evening but my plans went slightly awry. I'll do a lap to verify whay vendors are actually offering soon (and it is fairly trivial to tweak the list of potential effects with a "needs verification" tag moving forward).| Treefolk (ContribsMessage) 01:48, November 24, 2020 (EST)|
