A while back I offered up a proposed category structure with some finite rules on how pages should be categorized to prevent the spider web that exists currently. See DDO_wiki_talk:Category_policy

Basically, the "items" category branch off the root should contain only item pages (pages representing items, in the item namespace ), and there should be only one logical category for any page to exist.

Having the Crafting_Arrows page in either of these categories is counter to the proposed policy. It's a page with information about crafting and ingredients ( which happen to be arrows ).

Since the page itself does not represent an item, I don't believe it has any place in the Item category branch, the ammunition sub branch of items, or the ingredient sub branch of items, thus I removed it from those categories.

If you feel the Items  should represent something other than what I proposed, feel free to add your thoughts to the discussion. If possible, a clear set of rules of what pages should be included and a clear way to determine where those pages should exist would help remove any confusion in the wiki ( which is what I'm working towards ).

Does it matter if they are "<Creature> Slaying Arrows" or "Greater <Creature> Slaying Arrows"; will both work? ShoeMaker 23:56, January 12, 2012 (EST)

i will test it when i can. been collecting these myself and sick and tired of carrying quiver full of arrows now. collecting all of these to my crafter can be a PITA though (another free account and mule toon incoming!). denieth quivers are BtC right?

ye, greater slaying arrows aren't even compatible with the device.

And bolts aren't compatible either, wish they just accepted all ammunition with (greater) slaying which would include things like darts, throwing daggers, etc Neouni 06:58, January 14, 2012 (EST)
