Does anyone know if the Eldrich aura's range is affected by the point-blank range modifiers in the enhancement trees? --Jandragarious01 carries on doing whatever it was he was doing before interjecting here. 14:58, September 13, 2018 (EDT)

  • Not really sure what you are asking. But nothing seems to modify the range of Eldritch Aura. What range modifiers do you have in mind? Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 04:12, September 14, 2018 (EDT)
  • I feel sure I've seen somewhere that it is a "point blank" AOE. I was curious if its range would be affected by enhancements that extend the point-blank range for point blank shot or sneak attack. • Ah yeah. Sounds like something that pesky elves or rangers may have. Yeah, I don't those would affect Eldritch Aura's range in any way. -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 00:47, October 3, 2018 (EDT)

ENERVATING SHADOW----

Ugh, what a waste of a form, just wanted to briefly chat about it here. Got it, and immediately hopped into a solo Reaper-level mission involving almost pure combat/no traps, to really put it through its paces. I was so disappointed with how LITTLE it improved upon the basic single target Focused form, the very instant I finished the mission I immediately reset that tree to get those two AP back. Word of advice for anyone reading this, don't bother getting Enervating Shadow. Kiljaedenas (ContribsMessage) 16:48, January 10, 2023 (EST)

  • I find Enervating Shadow is only really helpful when dealing with enemies that like jumping out of the way of attacks, like the skeleton archers in The Catacombs. PurpleSerpent (ContribsMessage) 05:59, January 11, 2023 (EST)
  • Definitely NOT worth the 2 AP, I find Chain works very well against enemies that like to dodge if you get close, but at least there's something else valuable in that tree to still warrant 20 points. And Cone, no dodging in the world avoids that :) Kiljaedenas (ContribsMessage) 12:32, January 11, 2023 (EST)
