It looks like there are a number of bonus effects for certain combinations of focus, essence, or gem:

  • Focus: certain combination of foci on a single weapon give bonus effects (e.g., fire+fire+fire+fire: fire damage proc)
  • Essence: equipping multiple items with the same essence gives a legendary buff (material: crit, ethereal: incorporeal)
  • Gem: equipping multiple items with the same gem gives a legendary buff (opposition: hp, dominion: sp, escalation: dodge)
    • The formula looks to me like bonus HP = (6 + total number of opposition tiers)%, could someone verify?

Focus combinations are already listed on the Tier 3 effects page. I think the essence/gem set bonuses should get their own page.

Unless I am missing it, this page doesn't seem to describe how to use the Legendary Small/Medium/Large ingredients to make the Tier 1/2/3 augments. I'm new to GS crafting and came here trying to find that information. DanteIL (Contribs • Message) 11:16, January 16, 2016 (EST)

Opposition bonus bugged?[edit]

On the DDO Forums they're saying the Opposition bonus type requires exclusivity rather than just plurality. This sounds like a bug. Hillarie (Contribs • Message) 13:49, December 15, 2016 (EST)

Stone of change bug[edit]

Just tried to do stone of change crafting on my greensteel and once I bound and attuned it, it bricked the item all augments became bugged and no longer functioning or fixable. (just tested reloging fixed it)
