Maybe we can clarify it on the level page: for spells with +x damage for every 3 levels, does other class levels of a multiclass character count? For example: does a 6 sorcerer / 3 paladin (char level 9) +2 (only sorc counts) or +3 (char level) damage? Or if a 9 paladin / 1 sorcerer uses an arcane wand, will the damage calculated by using the level of the sorcerer only, or by taking the char level? Thanks for your help!
- Question is what counts as caster level in spells? New example: the description of Magic Missle says "A missile of magical energy darts forth and unerringly strikes its target inflicting 1d4+1 damage. For every 2 caster levels beyond first you gain an additional missile.". Will a lv 9 paladin / lv 1 sorcerer cast only one missle, because in sorcerer he is only level 1 or will he cast five missles because his paladin levels count as caster levels? Hope that clarifies my question. Regards, Bryond from Dorn (EU server).
