Talk:List of quests by story arc

this is a page i am very unhappy with. we kinda decided not to use category pages for site navigation thats ok but this page lacks its focus (this page is put together very poorly, from other pages' copy paste after all right?). i think we need to provide list of flagging guides and xp/favor listing separately. we have Quests by Adventure Pack (sorted by level range) too already. --yoko5000 (Contributions • Message) 01:07, March 17, 2013 (EDT)

I agree, this page needs an overhaul... At very least, the sections should be consistent using the same layout. There are some using a four column table, some using and eight column table, some with an unordered list of links, some with a overview/guide and few links... I'm thinking that a table per arc might look the best. I'm thinking each section/quest should be three rows and eight columns wide. It should look something like:

An alternative, perhaps more efficient is to put the description section on top like:

Perhaps even this would look better:

Suggest merging page

This page is inconsistent in the information it provides for each story arc; contains at least one duplicate section; and is otherwise in need of clean-up. Could the same service be provided by merging information about story arcs into Quests by Adventure Pack (sorted by level range)? I'm thinking something like:

• You should probably not think that a week is enough time for everyone to have seen and had time to comment on such a small wiki. Anyways, I currently oppose until there is a way to have the multiple different views available on one page. I know a couple people are whizzes with DPL, and that may be an option or alternatively it could be done with a .js gadget/userscript. You'll have to find someone willing with time to do that or learn to do it yourself and get the working product approved (because an admin would need to put it in MediaWiki space in the case of such a script or a DPL template would need to be fully protected). • I'm also pretty dissatisfied with the way some of the quest list pages are currently presented. They seem to be a mix of automatically populated via categories (not displayed nicely, in my opinion, and missing information that would be nice to have for someone who doesn't know the game backwards, like zone, favour/patron, etc) or manually updated (which in practice means not updated). I think it would be more useful to have everything on a single page, with all relevant details in separate columns, like in a database. Adventure name, pack, favour, pack total favour, etc. Then people can sort by whatever they like. It would be nice if it could be automatically populated like we have with Equipment categories . --Thalone 20:57, July 26, 2015 (EDT)

Notes on Korthos and on Delera's Tomb

In my opinion, the freeing of Korthos is also a "story arc". It has no flagging, but in my opinion it is a real story arc. On the other hand, I'd leave all quests not specifically tied to Delera's Tomb out of that story arc list here - even although they belong to the same pack ! But - and here's my point - they do not have anything to do with Delera herself.

And, besides, Tangleroot is 2 times in this page ... filed under different names ... This is probably because there is no clear distinction between the categories "Adventure Pack" and "Story Arc" in this page. ⇒ Alrik (Contribs • Message • Email) 12:16, May 18, 2019 (EDT)
