- I disagree, colors are used for dragons on their corresponding quest tables and on the Red Named and Purple Named Monsters pages. This page is color free because it is not about colors but about basic things like DR, alignment, resistances and immunities. by Mjoll 14:03, December 7, 2011 (EST)
- Putting named monsters of any type without their corresponding colors is misleading. Either the colors need to be there, or a note saying that there are no non-named Dragons and a link to where dragons can be found.. ShoeMaker 15:24, December 7, 2011 (EST)
- This page covers monster types and subtypes/races, regardless of color. I don't want to use colors for one monster category when the other 27 categories don't use them. Just because each dragon happens to be named doesn't mean that they can't be treated like I treated the Abishai, it's not that different other than having more than one entry per dragon type.
There is no need for colors, notes or more links, the players can put one and one together by themselves. The dragons are named so it should get them thinking. If the list doesn't contain non-named dragons then the first conclusion one draws is that there are no-named dragons in the game. They are... well, dragons, some of the most known fantasy monsters so, threat wise, nobody will mistake them for a hobgoblin. There are links next to the dragons' names. There is a link to Reds at the top of each project page. There is a link to Purples at the top of each project page. by Mjoll 16:53, December 7, 2011 (EST)
I think the confusion stems from a misunderstanding of the purpose of the Basic page. Since the other Red and Purple pages are about boss color, I assumed the Basic page was about non-boss mobs (I.E., the non-named, 'basic' mobs). Since that isn't what the Basic page is, a description of the purpose of the page at the top of the page would probably help.
Something like 'This page lists general information about monster types, which applies to most specific examples of monsters of that type. A few specific examples may also be listed here. For specific information on named monsters, see the Red and Purple monster pages.' Backley 12:48, December 8, 2011 (EST)
