Hey,
This is Fusiox. I'm new to DDO, just got it installed maybe two weeks ago or something like it, so I'm not going to be an annoying bugger and ask a bunch of questions like "How do I turn my helmet graphic off???" (not that I don't know the answer already ;D) However, I do have some questions about EnterWiki and how it works.
On the contrary to DDO, I'm a veteran when it comes to Wikis. I regularly edit, help out as much as I am able, and generally do whatever comes to mind that isn't just useless spam. But this EnterWiki's got me wondering and confused at the same time.
My question is... How do you create categories? When I was trying to put my character Eilinel on the Characters page, it didn't show up. I then checked around the tree categories and found that Ghallanda, Eilinel's server, wasn't an existing category yet. I fixed this with a lot of frustration (actually, just copying and pasting from a working category =D) but I think that putting up some instructions for category-creation or template-making would be very well appreciated.
And that points out my second question: How can I create help pages or User:Topic:Discussion or whatever it's called? THis site's been around for a while, and I think it could do with a bit of sprucing up to attract more potential users. Maybe a teaching page that points out that you need to upload a file into the DDO Wiki before you attempt to embed it in a page could help. Or how about someone tells me how I could change the site's templates as a whole, so maybe I could create a topic image for the Wiki to decorate its pages a bit more?
