Respawn points[edit]
It appears the respawn points in the Demonweb after falling/jumping off aren't entirely random. I've been jumping down about 30 times in a row, always landing at the same point (the entrance). After exploring a bit further and repeating the experiment, I landed at one of two points: the entrance, and the point further south (which I had just explored). On a previous visit to the web we could, after exploring most of it, respawn at multiple points, however.
Based on these observations, it would seem one can only "respawn" at points one has already explored. Exploration that occurred on previous expeditions do NOT seem to count after a reset.
Any observations as to that? -Fhtagn
