I've found that Conquest is indeed possible in VON3 on Normal difficulty: four drow respawn every three minutes after dying at a certain chest.

Had the following XP rates on last run (HE 19.05.17):
(Optional) Slay Chacter Luridae Heroic: 15%
(Optional) Slay Drinto Luridae Heroic: 22%
(Optional) Slay Huarn Luridae Heroic: 32%
(Optional) Slay Mrist Luridae Heroic: 30%
(Optional) Slay Wumat Luridae Heroic: 15%
(Optional) Slay Prikta the Beholder (rare) 25%
Also with the new code for bonuses the disarm bonuses got lost
