Talk:Wizard enhancements (history)

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

I don't think the enhancement pages will ever get large enough for it not to be silly to have a TOC, at least while level cap's 10 ;p --Uky 00:53, January 27, 2006 (PST)

I just moved it to thre right to clean things up, I didn't add it! [:: ℑilver§ℑide ::] 01:13, January 27, 2006 (PST)

Official Info[edit]

Y'know, just copying blindly from DDO.com isn't that much better than from anywhere else. There's already been noted many errors between the stuff on DDO.com and what's actually in-game. --Uky

The official policy is to copy from NOWHERE. Get it first hand or don't add it. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 22:56, February 25, 2006 (EST)
Well that sounds good, but I was responding to the header on the top of this article page... It suggests someone going to DDO.com and copying the latest official info over. ;p --Uky
Sorry hadn't been paying attention - dunno who added that. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 02:57, February 26, 2006 (EST)
The enhancement info on DDO.com is pretty much 100% corresponding to what was found in Beta. I don't see any problems copying it. The *feat* info on the other hand..User:Sonil 17:33, February 26, 2006 (PST)
Oh and for the official wizards enhancements page, looking it over in detail I can say there's a good deal of mistakes for levels 3-5. Wouldn't be surprised for others, but I haven't gotten past level 5 yet. --Uky
Cool, fix them! ;) Tihocan 09:54, February 28, 2006 (EST)
Yes, most problems with the DDO website currently are on their feats page -- Tihocan 10:19, February 27, 2006 (EST)
Before the new DDO website, our list of enhancements was way off. A first step towards a better list is to copy from the new DDO website, who is currently much better than the Wiki for enhancements. Once we start from this, we can start improving it from ingame experience (and remove the note at the top). Otherwise, we could also remove everything and start from scratch, but then nobody will visit and help us. Tihocan 10:19, February 27, 2006 (EST)
Whatever you think is best, I guess that works. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 17:39, February 27, 2006 (EST)
Well alright, but I must point out there's quite a few mistakes with their spell lists as well. --Uky
Yes, I was just talking about the enhancements here -- Tihocan 09:46, February 28, 2006 (EST)

Improved Heightening I and II[edit]

Someone put the value -10% and -15%. This is confusing. Someone should double-check what it means exactly. With sample values on the DDO numbers page. Tihocan 11:31, March 8, 2006 (EST)

Just noticed that these values have been fiddled with. Anyway, the same remark applies. Tihocan 11:32, March 8, 2006 (EST)
And same thing for update III -- Tihocan 16:36, March 13, 2006 (EST)

Module 3.3a[edit]

I've been playing with this page a bit to change the content to the new enhancement relying mostly on ddo.com, since so far I couldn't find any mistakes yet. The design is still premature, therefor I use the templates Template:EL for Enhancements and Template:ET for Titles, so the style can quickly be changed to try out other layouts. If you have a different idea for how the enhancements should look, I invite you to convert a different enhancement page using templates as well, so once we all decided upon a style, our work wasn't in vain. Lineage of... Removed?[edit]

This page mentions "Wizard Lineage of Elements" I & II and "Wizard Lineage of Deadly Elements" I & II, but no where in this wiki are either these things explained, or at least such explanations are not to be found with simple searches. Were they removed from the game, but not completely from the wiki?

yes they were removed from game. update 9 replaced them by ... Manipulation and ... Spellcasting etc. --yoko5000 04:17, August 3, 2011 (EDT)
