The King of Cats Grimoire: This smoke colored journal gleams an iridescent green when held in the right light.

- The one-eyed rogue, of sharp claws and teeth and tongue,
- held aloft his sabre and laughed.
- "Noble hound! Do you not know me? I am the King of
- Cats!"
- The hound stared at the King of Cats and was befuddled.
- "What's all this about? Dancing like a fool, dressed in cape
- and hat and sword as if you were a man... it's not natural
- and I say stop it!' The hound growled and scratched at his ears.
- The King of Cats purred and said to the hound: "My
- friend! My foolish friend! Mankind is but a passing fancy
- in the universe. We beasts rule the land, though the
- humans know not of our plans. Don't you have aspirations
- of greatness?"
- The dog yawned. "Ah, cat. I just wish for a good bone to
- chew and a warm fire. I'll leave you to dream of grand
- things."
